Save Chef Robert Irvine and Dinner Impossible! sign now

Dear Food Network,

Please save Robert Irvine and "Dinner Impossible." This program is one of the few efforts by the Food Network in recent years to add any creativity and excitement to an otherwise predictable lot of toothy, behind-the-counter recipe shows that suffocate the network's airwaves. The show is both well conceived and well executed (i.e. well produced). Chef Irvine is a charasmatic and likable character with exemplary skill and creativity as a chef. While the show as conceived makes for an enjoyable watch, Chef Irvine adds a watchability and enjoyment to the show that is irreplicable. Without Chef Irvine, there is no Dinner Impossible.

Chef Irvine may have misrepresented portions of his resume and for that he should be disciplined in some capacity (the hit to his reputation following the disclosure of the misrepresentation is probably punishment enough). But he has proven himself a valuable and marketable commodity, and has become the face of a considerable TV franchise in Dinner Impossible. To simply cut ties with such a popular figure on such a successful show because he overstated prior experience is way too harsh a punishment to Chef Irvine and, most importantly, the loyal viewers of HIS show. Chef Irvine has earned our trust through his valor in service on the show and if he were to come clean and apologize to the viewers we would be more than happy to welcome him back into our homes.

Please bring back Chef Robert Irvine and Dinner Impossible.

Sincerely,

Loyal Viewers
