People in Middle School Should be allowed to dye hair any color sign now

I recently dyed my hair an intense red color. I was told that I could not have it; it would distract others in class. I think that is a lame excuse to ban it. I hope to change the rule. This may not concern some of you, but if you read this, understand my feelings and disputes. How will students ever change the world if they can't even change their hair? If you agree, please sign my petition so I can display it to my principle.

Self-Expression is a basic human right. Stay strong and ask the principle if over 50% of American women dye their hair, are they a distraction to their students?

what a rediculous notion, i hope something bad happens to your principal. and ask him what he's going to do.. suspend you? That wouldn't fly too well with too many people.

Not being able to dye our hair in school is taking away our freedom rights even more. It may distract someone in class, yes, but only for a mere second people! Within mere minutes, the surroundings would get used to unnnatural colors in peoples hair. No
