End the Bat-embargo on Justice League Unlimited sign now

To all fans of the DCAU that was created by Bruce Timm and Paul Dini.

Those of us who love these shows that began with the wonderful "Batman: The Animated Series" fondly remember Batman interacting with characters such as James Gordon, Alfred, Harvey Bullock etc., the villians that we loved to hate, Joker (voiced wonderfully by Mark Hamill), Two-Face, Poison Ivy and its own creation Harley Quinn.

Then came "Superman: The Animated Series" while great, just didn't have the same appeal that Batman had. But then Batman the Animated Series was revamped and born anew taking on a fresh look, and new character designs, Batgirl a more active player, Dick Grayson becoming Nightwing and a new Robin.

Then in 1999, unfortunately both shows were cancelled in favor of "Batman Beyond" which still kept fans of the DCAU happy.

Then in 2001, Bruce Timm returned to the present with "Justice League" in which Batman become a starring member. During the course of the second season several characters from "Batman: The Animated Series" were brought back to give fans a delighted squeal. Then in 2004, Justice League was ended, but a new series began called "Justice League Unlimited" which seems to be the dream show for any DC Animated Universe fan. But then fans were outraged to learn that their favorite characters from "Batman" were offlimits to this new series for the time being due to the new show "The Batman" which has nothing to do with the DCAU fans so love. Now, the WB's reasons for this is that kids (the target demograph in their mind) will get confused of seeing two versions of the same character at the time, yet they allow Batman to appear on JLU. This leaves to a question. If kids don't mind two different versions of Batman, why would they mind two different versions of Joker or Batgirl or Alfred? The answer is up to you.

"Justice League Unlimited" is probably going to be the last series that Bruce Timm has to do with a DC property and these wonderful characters that we came to love when watching "Batman: The Animated Series" may not get a proper send-off. So please to Warner Bros and DC Comics (whichever placed the Bat-embargo on Timm and crew) please reconsider this decision and allow these characters to return!

I was only 10 when they cancelled "Batman: The Animated Series" but I still remember plenty from watching it when ever it would air. I watched the cartoons since I could remember and I always looked forward to them, even when reruns were showed after it w

This is never going to happen and you all should be happy for it. This only forces the writers to create a better show instead of relying on already established properties. Address В Users В Political Party В
