Declaration of Tax Independence sign now

The United States of America is in dire need of a Tax code overhaul. The system we have currently is a major burden on American families and individuals. Not only does this code hurt us domestically, but it has also made us increasingly unable to compete in the new global marketplace. Businesses are outsourcing their jobs, and moving their headquarters, to areas of the world where the cost of business is affordable, and the tax liabilities are significantly less than the U.S.

No matter what Tax plan your prefer personally, be it a flat tax, consumption tax, or another, we need your support to get the action started by congress. Please read the declaration and sign your name. This will be sent to every member of congress. Additionally, please forward this link to your friends and family, and feel free to print a copy for yourself to send to your personal representatives. It is important that you know where they stand on Tax reform, and it is essential to the survivability of America that reform happens soon.

Declaration of Tax Independence

We the people of the United States of America pursuant to our constitutionally mandated rights of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness, hereby call for the repeal of the Sixteenth Amendment to the Constitution, and the dismantling of the Internal Revenue Service, of the United States of America. In reference to Article 1, Section 9, Clause 4 of the Constitution which states, "No Capitation, or other direct, Tax shall be laid, unless in Proportion to the Census or Enumeration herein before directed to be taken. we hereby find both the 16th Amendment, and the I.R.S., unconstitutional, and a direct infringement on our guaranteed rights of Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

We the people find the 16th Amendment, and the IRS, in direct opposition to the basic fundamental principles of Liberty, and an absolute contrast to the foundational values dictated in our constitution. Be it known that we the people respect the right of individual liberty, and the government's just responsibility to defend that liberty. We the people value the role of government as the protector of our rights, and expect quick and just resolution to violations of those rights, even if the public servants of government have committed those violations themselves.

As servants of the public, whose only power derives from the consensus of the people, we the people, who hold that power, hereby revoke the power of government to uphold the 16th Amendment. And be it the government's sole
responsibility to establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our prosperity, we the people demand compliance on those duties, and will, in the absence of compliance, utilize our constitutionally mandated right to replace those servants that choose not to comply. If the servants of the people continue to deny the fundamental rights of the people, they are no longer serving their function, and therefore are of no continued value to the people.

In past years, the attempts to impose unjust taxation on the citizens of America were met with swift justice on the side of the people. The Wilson-Gorman Tariff Act of 1894, whose purpose was to impose a 2\% federal tax on income, was ruled unconstitutional by the Supreme Court, who declared it to be an unappropriated direct tax. This act later came to fruition through political slight of hand, promise of entitlements, and the general promotion of wealth envy through the country. This almost bearable 2\% tax on individual production, has blossomed into the corrupt monstrosity we have at present. It not only feeds the governments insatiable appetite for spending, but it also deters success, hamstrings business, oppresses
individual achievement, and adds to the general malaise of the country as a whole.

We the people choose to remind our public servants of the declaration our forefathers proclaimed. In this declaration, the brave men of our past laid down the reasons for their withdrawal from the empire. We the people hold these claims valid today, and along with new justifications of present, choose to once again to lay them on the table.

Dear government servants, we the people of the United States of America, demand the reform of your duties for reasons deemed unconstitutional including:

You have erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers
to harass our people, and eat out their substance.

For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent

For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and
altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments

Denying our Individual Rights to suit your needs

Demanding federal funding for project issues of the states

Choosing to Dictate government Decided rules of ethics

Refusing to embrace Fiscal Responsibility

Punishing Individual Business through Regulation

Tinkering with the laws of economics for Government Benefit

Participating in behavior degrading to Americas foundations of Liberty and Freedom

Setting yourselves above the people you Serve

Appointing yourselves in assumed positions of higher Moral Character, and using those positions to impose limitations on Individual Freedom

Engaging in scare tactics to prey on the citizens of the country, and imposing new Regulations to limit the Power of the People.

Practicing acts of deception to mask new laws detrimental to our Right of Freedom.

Using intimidation, unlawful force, and other general practices outside your constitutional parameters to coerce participation in your programs, and to justify your acts of thievery from the people.

Dostoevsky once said, In the end they will lay their freedom at our feet and say to us, make us your slaves, but feed us. But he did not know America, and we the people of America, will never lay down our freedoms. This is the choice you have given us, and this is our answer. Should you choose to ignore the voice of the people, be it known that your power will be short lived.

We the People of the United States of America in order to reclaim our rights demand the complete reform of our code of taxation. There are several legitimate options on the table, and it is your job as servants of the people to accept the best proposal. However, let it be known that we will accept nothing more than complete reform, and the total transfer of power back to the people of the country. Each of us has the innate desire to contribute to the success of the nation, and we do so through the product of our labor, our innovation, and our success. The current practice of forced seizure of our assets will no longer be accepted. The oath you have taken, and that is renewed every 2nd year states,

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.

The defense of the constitution from domestic enemies includes defense from yourselves.

Unlike the declaration of our forefathers, with this declaration, you are being given the chance to rectify your errors of the past. You have one chance, which if not exercised, will be followed by the action of the people. We the people hold the true power, and no commission, no regulation, no dimpled or hanging chad, will deter the application of that power.

Liberty will prevail.
