Dear Glen Box,

I am writing this on behalf of a number of enthusiasts who have recently come together with a common goal. Many of us have used your products in the past and have all had very positive feedback to give. We trust your companys product line, and appreciate how you stand behind it. We are proud to say I have BellTech components on my truck! We would like to continue buying your products for future endeavors. There is only one problem: You refuse to sell them to us.
Myself, as well as other, have been trying to purchase the 3 inch lowering torsion bar keys for the 81-93 GMC and Chevy compact (S-10) 4X4 trucks. No one is willing to sell us these parts because they will not break them out of a prepackaged kit. The kit also includes a lowered leaf spring pack, which by todays modern standards of air bag suspensions with light-weight triangulated rear ends, are pretty much worthless. They are extremely heavy and cumbersome to have to ship in the mail. They are out dated. They are bringing you down. Im not saying to stop making them. Im sure they are still very popular. But it is not fair that because we have all wheel drive or 4X4 set-ups, we are forced to buy this complete kit just to get the front-end pieces we need. The two wheel drive drop spindles are not pre-packaged with lowering springs, leaf springs, lowering blocks. They are sold as individual items, as they should be. That is all that we are asking for.
We would like to make it possible to purchase these keys, to be used with your leaves, or blocks, or what ever other rear suspension set-up the buyer may want, just like your drop spindles, which I must say are THE BEST in the industry. If we could just call up Summit Racing, or any of your distributors, an order what we need, we will bring you a lot of business. If it wasnt so expensive to buy the keys, dont you think that you would sell a lot more of them? The 1st generation Chevy S-10 Blazer is one of the most popular and longest running body style platforms ever to be made by any automobile manufacturing company. Not to mention that most of the suspension parts are still compatible with the 2nd Gen. models. Thats over 20 years of trucks on the road that you will have a monopoly on lowering components on. The reason they are not for sale individually right now is beyond me. It would take just a few minutes to assign these parts their own product number and a list price. The leaf springs already have this. Why not the torsion bar keys?
Please consider this simple request and help make the BellTech name all that it was meant to be: The industry standard in street performance suspensions, including 4X4s.
